It is only when PWDs are part of the decision- making processes can we as a nation successfully improve their welfare. The 2022 theme for this year’s International Days of Persons with Disabilities is: “Transformative Solutions for inclusive development: The role of innovation in fueling an accessible and equitable world”.

The ZNWL has been conducting a monitoring and learning visit under the project “Promoting women and youth participation in leadership, civic and political life” supported by Diakonia. The visit is being conducted in Chikankata, Mazabuka, Kalomo and Livingstone. The aim of the visit is to monitor project performance, understand the challenges being faced and opportunities that exist for better project implementation.
